Meet Flora

If you’re a girl, there’s a good chance you’ve stumbled upon a few wedding gowns in your day that you’ve tucked away for later, aka “the big day.” We all have different tastes and desires when it comes to dress designs, and for me, that’s anything delicate, lacy, and fun. When I first discovered Flora gowns, it was an instant crush. I mean, how could I not fall head over heels? The Haifa, Israel-based brand boasts an eclectic fusion of classic and contemporary design with vintage-inspired fabrics, intricate beading, lace, and embroidery, and soft, romantic patterns. Point blank—these gowns are what dreams are made of. The newest Identity Collection is sure to make you pin every photo to your wedding board (because I did).

So, let me tell you—deciding on a dress to wear to your wedding is not an easy thing to do. I spent a couple weeks on the hunt and one of the places I headed to was a local shop I’ve always wanted to visit, The Dress Theory in Nashville. It’s known as the place to go to when you get engaged because it carries the best designers and most beautiful gowns ever. My best friend and I played dress up in Flora gowns for an hour until I finally decided on one for my wedding reception (ahh!!)… which was so hard to do because they were all so incredible. I decided to share some of my other favorites from the Flora collection below!

“All the Flora gowns, all the floral gowns…”
Me talking to the stylist about how I’m seriously in love with all the Flora gowns.

The Melanie
. This one is actually a bodysuit that you pair with a skirt. I loved this one’s long, romantic lace sleeves and its sleek, simplistic layout.
The Martha. Just look at that long, flowy skirt that falls so perfectly and the deep-V neck design with sequins. It’s just made of elegance.
The Eva. This gown is very bohemian, lightweight, and gorgeously delicate. Feels like the perfect gown for a summer or beach wedding.

The Emylia. This is a lace-lover’s dream gown! This starts with a criss-cross patterned beaded top and endlessly airy floral bottom.
Just a glimpse of the many accessories and baubles The Dress Theory has! From veils and belts to jewelry and headpieces, they have everything magical. I will also say, the shop has tons of gorgeous dresses that work for non-wedding events, too.

Whether you’re engaged, single, or already married, I absolutely recommend seeking out the nearest Dress Theory near you to try on these and other Flora gowns, even if it’s just for future plans! 😉
